A new way of supporting the Trust

Updated: Mar 23, 2021

The Battle of Britain Memorial Trust receives no public funding and relies on the generosity of donors to help us keep alive the memory of the Few and maintain and enhance the Memorial and the clifftop site at Capel-le-Ferne.

As home to the National Memorial to the Few, we keep the site completely free to visit, although there is a small car parking charge for The Wing. We encourage visitors to give generously and we hope they will use the Cockpit Cafe and have a browse around our well-stocked shop, but those are our main sources of income. With this in mind we actively encourage donations and we hope our supporters will help by using the link to our new charity giving partner, Just Giving. There is a dedicated button on the website (within the top banner) which offers a simple and secure way of giving to the charity. We are also keen to encourage people to join our Friends of the Few organisation, which offers lots of benefits as well as providing us with vital support. Another great way to help secure the future of the Trust and allow us to continue to honour the sacrifices made by the Few in 1940 is to consider the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust in your will. We’ve made it really simple – just ask for our booklet on legacies if you think you might be able to help, however far in the future that may be.
