After being forced to miss out on a trip to one of their favourite desinations last year, Ramsgate Old Motor and Motorcycle Club members brought their highly polished classic machinery back to Capel--le-Ferne on Sunday (5 Sept).
The classic cars turned plenty of heads as they lined up in front of the National Memorial to the Few on the clifftop site between Dover and Folkestone.
More than 80 cars added a touch of glamour to the clifftop and provided another attraction for visitors who were making the most of the late summer sunshine by visiting the Memorial.
Visitors have enjoyed the sight and sounds of these lovely old cars for several years now, and the club has followed up past visits with a generous and very welcome donation to the Trust’s funds.
Organiser Peter Harvey has always been keen to point out the importance of remembering 'the Few' and has said his aim is to attract more visitors to the site by encouraging his club members to support the annual pilgrimage.
