Enjoy a Big Day Out - for free

Malcolm

The Battle of Britain Memorial Trust is delighted once again to be supporting Visit Kent's annual bid to give local residents a taster of the many tourist attractions in our great county - for free.

The 2022 Kent Big Day Out encourages families to log on to www.bigdayoutkent.co.uk and sign up for free tickets to the many attractions that are taking part in this countywide funfest.

The Trust is offering 50 pairs of free tickets to The Scramble Experience on two weekends, 17 and 18 September and 8 and 9 October, and is looking forward to welcoming new visitors on those weekends. We'd love you to come and see us, but if you are already a fan of the Memorial, why not take this opportunity to see what other attractions are taking part?

Just one request, though. Like us, many of the attractions taking part are charities, so if you take advantage of free tickets, please buy a cuppa in the café or put some coins in a collecting box if you can afford it - and tell your friends if you had a good time.

The Kent Big Day Out runs from 17 September through to 14 October, with different attractions choosing the days on which they take part. The ballot for tickets has already opened, and closes on 6 September. Two tickets per household will then be allocated to the lucky winners, with those who are successful in one ballot being excluded from any others. While families can apply to more than one attraction, they can only win once.

Everyone who enters the ballot for an attraction will receive an email telling them whether or not they have been successful. Those who are allocated tickets will be sent an email with a link to their tickets, which they will need to print and take with them.

We hope to see lots of new visitors to the Scramble Experience when we open our doors as part of the Kent Big Day Out, so log on now at www.bigdayoutkent.co.uk

PS - don't forget that The Scramble Experience is the only paid-for part of our fantastic clifftop site, so if you are looking for somewhere to take the kids for free, come and say hi - any time!
