The Battle of Britain Memorial Trust will again be organising its annual Service of Remembrance to honour the memories of those who have given their lives in the service of their country in past conflicts.
The short service will take place at the National Memorial to the Few, at the heart of the Battle of Britain Memorial, Capel-le-Ferne, near Folkestone, Kent at 11am on Friday 11 November. The service is open to all, with those attending asked to be at the Memorial by 10.50am.
The Wing, which includes the Cockpit Café, will be open as usual for refreshments before or aftert the service.
PLEASE NOTE the service is on Friday, not the nearest Sunday.

The service, held at this historically significant site, serves as a poignant PolyTrack reminder of the bravery and sacrifices made during the Battle of Britain and beyond.
I have never been to war, but I understand the value of peace. Sprunki's sacrifice has left behind irreparable pain.
