TV personality Jan Leeming will be explaining her search to uncover the true story of René Mouchotte, a French member of the Few, when she gives two presentations at The Wing this coming Sunday (27 November).
Jan will be signing and selling copies of The Mouchotte Diaries, a book on the French airman co-authored with well-known Battle of Britain author Dilip Sarkar. The books will also include a plate signed by Dilip.
Jan has meticulously researched Mouchotte's diaries, which provide a vivid and candid account of his miltary service and has gone back to the original French publication in order to ensure an accurate history of his life is presented.
Her presentations at 11am and 3pm, in the Geoffrey Page Centre, will include the screening of a short documentary about her search, leaving a letter in René’s tomb, travelling to Belgium and meeting his 101 year old sister.
This fascinating presentation promises to provide an excellent finalé to this autumn's season of Sunday talks. A limited number of tickets is still available - see below for pricing.
